About the Artist
Hello, my name is Becky Beasley and I’m a retired Art Teacher from Georgia who has spent the last 20 years inspiring young minds through the world of creativity. Raised in the Commerce/Miami, OK and Joplin, MO area, I found my way back to Missouri to be closer to family. The love of the arts is my driving force, and I am passionate about sharing my experiences and knowledge with others. Art has always been a significant part of my life, and I’ve dabbled in a multitude of creative ventures, including but not limited to drawing, painting, weaving, printing, pottery, sewing, woodworking, etc. Each medium offers its own unique expression, and I relish the opportunity to explore them all. One of my favorite pastimes is creating ATCs – Artist Trading Cards. These tiny pieces of art hold a special place in my heart, and I enjoy trading them with people, including children, all over the world. I look forward to continuing my artistic journey, filled with new experiences and adventures. When I am not in the studio you can find me tending my garden, kayaking, researching my next creative venture or simply enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
