Happy holidays and a happy new year to everyone, we have some fun and exciting events happening this month. Starting out the new year just this first weekend of January is our very first theater production! Read more below to see what’s in store for the start of the new year.
The Sam Spoof Mystery
Join us on January 3rd, 4th, and 5th for a production of The Sam Spoof Mystery, a fun parody show full of puns. The cast has worked hard for this production and it’s sure to be a great time. Adults tickets will be $10, while students, children, and seniors are $5. Reserve tickets online or pay in person. Concessions will also be offered, including drinks and food.

January Classes
Printmaking with Deby Gilley
Join us for some wonderful classes taught by Deby! Learn each step of printmaking hands on and create a piece with your own style and skills. We’ve had classes taught by her before, and they were wonderful, so make sure to not miss out on this opportunity. Sign up now here.

Price: $35 for members, $45 for non members
Kids Basket Weaving with Debbie Howard
Do your kids show an interest in the arts? Sign up for this 1 hour class and they’ll have fun making their very own basket. Taught by Debbie Howard, a talented artist who has taught basket weaving classes here before. The limit is 5 students, so make sure to sign up quickly here.
Class date: 4-5pm January 16
Price: $15 for members, $25 for non members.
February Classes
Drawing Classes with Jennifer Jones
Is your kid interested in learning how to draw? Wanting to explore art? Sign up for this still life and figure drawing course! Made for children ages 7-11, this is a great way to explore different forms of drawing. You can pay for all 4 classes, or pay per class. $35 members/$45 non members, or $10/$12 per class.
Feb 3rd – Exploring graphite, charcoal and drawing materials. Completed pencil drawing of still life with shape, form, and value by the end of the class.
Feb 10th – Perspective drawing with ink, markers and colored pencils. Participants will use lines and texture to create a landscape drawing. Make a landscape with characters, animals, cars /vehicles.
Feb 17th – Color Exploration with chalk or oil pastels, the color wheel, blending techniques will result in a completed neurographic drawing.
Feb 24th – Completed final still life drawing.

Drawing Classes with Jocelyn Dunaway
Similar to the 7-11 year old classes, here you and/or your child will learn figure and face drawing. For ages 12+, this is a fun way to strengthen your art skills or learn something new. You can pay for all 4 classes, or pay per class. $35 members/$45 non members, or $10/$12 per class. Learning similar concepts as in the 7-11 classes, you’ll have a final drawing from a model on the 24th.

Kids Basket Weaving with Debbie Howard
Join us for another fun kids basket weaving class, whether you’ve attended before or not! Just like the previous class, there is a limit of 5 students, and you can sign up here.

Adult Basket Weaving with Debbie Howard
Come on by and make your very own snack basket to bring home and fill with all sorts of treats! You’ll be sure to have fun, and by the end of the class have a new useful item to be proud of. Sign up here. Ages 12+ and $25 members, $35 non members.

2D Intro to Felting with Celeste Whitlow
Have some fun with a new class, and learn how to felt! Whether you’ve done fiber arts before or not, this is sure to be an interesting craft to learn, and you might pick up a new hobby by the end of this class. Pricing TBD, make sure to keep an eye out for more information.
