Last night marked the first day of our 2025 Summer Art Camp at Dade County ArtConnect — and what an incredible start it was! The room was filled with creativity, color, and the happy buzz of kids diving into their projects with paintbrushes, pencils, and glue sticks in hand.
We’re beyond grateful to the Springfield Regional Arts Council (SRAC) for the generous grant that made this week of camp completely free for all our young artists. Their support has allowed us to open the doors wide and give every child the chance to explore, create, and connect with their imagination—without cost being a barrier.
Each group is working hard on projects they’ll be proud to show off at our Art Show on Friday, and we can’t wait to share their incredible work with families, friends, and the community. From drawing and painting to collaborative pieces, our campers are already proving that creativity is alive and well in Dade County.
Stay tuned for more snapshots from camp this week, and don’t forget to mark your calendar for Friday’s showcase!
