We’re easing into July with a quieter schedule, but June was packed with big moments for DCA—and we’ve got some exciting things coming in August!
June Highlights
SRAC Grant Awarded – We’re thrilled to share that DCA was awarded a grant from the Springfield Regional Arts Council! This support helps us continue bringing affordable arts programming to our community. Thank you for cheering us on!
Golf Tournament Success – A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us for our first-ever DCA Golf Tournament! Between our sponsors, players, and volunteers, the day was a blast—and raised critical funds for future classes and productions. Check out our Facebook for photos!
Annual Members Meeting – Thank you to everyone who joined us in person for our annual meeting! We reviewed the year’s progress, shared plans for what’s ahead, and welcomed new faces to the DCA community. We’re grateful to all our members, volunteers, and friends who help keep the arts alive in Dade County.
Costume Shop Donations Rolling In – Thank you to everyone who has dropped off fabric, notions, and sewing supplies! Our dream of building a community costume shop is coming to life. Stay tuned for more work days and volunteer opportunities.

“Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up)” hits the stage August 1–3! Ticket are on sale now!
Expect a wild ride through fairy tales with a hilariously unreliable narrator. You won’t want to miss it.
Free Kids Summer Art Camp
Happening August 4–8 at the DCA Center, this week-long camp is full—but we’re so excited to welcome a full house of young artists!
We’ll end the week with a Family Art Show to celebrate what they’ve created. Stay tuned for photos!

We’re open Monday–Thursday from 10AM–2PM at the DCA Center (419 College St., Greenfield).
Bring your own project, enjoy the creative space, and connect with fellow makers.
