Announcing the DCA Youth Grant and Scholarship Program
Dade County ArtConnect (DCA) is thrilled to announce a new initiative aimed at making the arts more accessible to our community’s youth. Our Youth Grant and Scholarship Program is designed to nurture young creativity and ensure that every student has the opportunity to explore and grow through the arts.
About the Youth Grant Program
The Youth Grant provides students ages 7-18 with a one-year membership to DCA. This membership comes with numerous benefits, including discounted rates on all classes and workshops. By reducing financial barriers, we hope to inspire the next generation of artists, makers, and dreamers. For more information on applying for the Youth Grant Program, please visit the Youth Grant Application page.
About the Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship Fund will allow DCA to offer a limited number of free tickets for classes to students in need. This ensures that even those facing financial challenges can participate in our enriching programs. From painting to printmaking, and everything in between, we believe that every young person deserves the chance to create and learn.
For more information or to apply for a Class Scholarship, please visit the Scholarship Application page.
Acknowledging Our Supporters
We couldn’t do this without the generous support of our sponsors. To honor their contributions, all donors to the DCA Youth Scholarship Fund will be recognized on our Tree of Gratitude, a beautiful mural being painted by local artist, Becky Beasley, in our center. This vibrant artwork will serve as a permanent reminder of the community’s commitment to fostering creativity and opportunity for all.
How You Can Help
If you’re passionate about supporting youth in the arts, consider contributing to the DCA Youth Scholarship Fund. Your contribution will directly impact students in our community, providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.
Together, we can make a difference and ensure that art continues to inspire and uplift our youth.
